The Blues

TENNIS

2010

The Blues Tennis Team will begin practice next Sunday, April 18th from 3:00-4:00PM.

The practices are held at Hopkins North Junior High School indoor tennis courts and hope this time will accommodate those who are also participating in track and field.   Parents may stay and observe practice - but bring your own chair - there isn't any seating available.  Our tennis team plans to participate in the area and state tennis tournaments this year.

Coach Dave is looking for a few more coaches for tennis - if you are interested in coaching - please contact Dave at DASU100@msn.comCoach Dave asks that coaches and interested parents arrive for the first practice at 2:15PM to watch a video and go over equipment. There is a Level 2 coaches training coming up that you might be interested in attending.

The team will practice Sunday afternoons through June 13th (including Memorial Day weekend - but could cancel based on attendance).  Our team will need to collect a $25 participation fee and $20 for the state tournament fee (if you participate).  You can give your checks to me - Kathy Stagni (Melissa's mom)

Requirements:   Bring a tennis racket and your enthusiasm!  Tennis balls will be provided.  If you do not have a tennis racket, please email Dave at DASU100@msn.com and he may be able to provide one for you.  If you have extra tennis rackets, please bring them so that others that do not have a racket may use them.

Look forward to another fun season of Blues Tennis!
